Project Engineer


Project Engineers, at Fassberg begin their careers working in field office of our various commercial & residential and educational establishments’ projects.

The primary function of Project Engineers is to assist the Project Manager and the Superintendent in organizing, controlling, monitoring and recording all activities, which are part of the construction management of a project.

Project Engineers, at Fassberg must have initiative, flexibility, imagination and perseverance to perform their duties. Job site activities change daily as the construction of the project proceeds. Listed below are examples of typical duties:

Liaison between the owner, architect, engineer and subcontractors
Processing administrative work, including change orders, submittals, shop drawings and progress billings
Interpretation of drawings, specifications and field issues
Material and equipment procurement
4 year degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Prolog
Excellent communication and writing skills

The work is fast-paced and requires the Project Engineer to be a problem solver and to provide workable solutions to keep the job moving.
